Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms govern your use of hithkari.com (the “Site”) and any advisory engagement with Ravi Yeleswarapu (“I,” “me”). By using the Site or engaging the practice, you agree to these Terms.
Nature of the services
I provide independent exit-planning advisory for owner-led companies — coordinating your tax, legal, wealth, insurance, and deal advisors as your “quarterback,” with a data-and-systems diligence lens — and I plan intentional, done-for-you travel (arranged through Hithkari Travels; see below). The Site and any materials I share are informational and advisory in nature. They are not legal, tax, accounting, securities, investment, or business-brokerage advice, and nothing here creates a fiduciary, broker-dealer, or attorney–client relationship.
I am a licensed property & casualty insurance agent. I am not a licensed business broker, financial advisor, or CFP. Where a decision calls for a licensed professional I don’t cover — or for experience beyond mine — I will tell you and refer you to one.
Tracking and analytics
Plain version: this Site measures its own traffic. It runs Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics to see how pages are used, and an Apollo tracker that tries to recognize the organization a visit comes from — so I can tell who’s interested and fix what isn’t working. Those tools are run by other companies, and once your visit data reaches them it’s governed by their terms, not mine. By using the Site you’re accepting that, and the full detail — including how to opt out — is in the Privacy Policy.
Engagements and payment
Engagements are scoped in writing and are flat-fee, paid in full at checkout or booking: the Advisory Call ($600, credited toward Discover if you proceed within 60 days), Discover — Baseline Valuation & Readiness ($8,000), Prepare — Value Enhancement Sprints ($12,500 per 90-day sprint), and fixed-scope deliverables such as opinions of value, cash-flow models, and market research. Buy-side retained search is a flat monthly retainer ($4,500/month, three-month minimum) — consulting only: no success fee, and I accept no referral or transaction-based compensation from any party. I never act on both sides of the same deal. My fees are never contingent on whether or what you buy or sell. Deal-team coordination at the Decide stage is scoped individually. Founding-client discounts apply while available; the price shown at checkout controls. A statement of work controls over these Terms where they conflict.
Referrals and partners
Exit planning is a team effort. I coordinate a network of independent partners — tax, legal, wealth management, insurance, and, where a sale is involved, licensed business brokers. Where I refer you to a partner and that partner pays me a referral fee, I disclose it to you in advance so you can weigh the referral on its merits. On some engagements I may run point on a specific workstream myself — most often a data-and-systems review, and, as a licensed property & casualty agent, certain commercial-insurance needs. You are always free to choose your own advisors.
Travel services
Travel planning and bookings are arranged through Hithkari Travels, my full-service travel agency, and are separate from the advisory practice. Travel is subject to Hithkari’s terms and to the terms, pricing, and cancellation and refund policies of the airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other suppliers involved. Planning fees, deposits, and any commissions are disclosed before you book.
Refunds
The advisory call is fully refundable if I conclude I can’t help or it isn’t delivering value. Once a recommendation has been delivered, it is not refundable simply because you disagree with it. For project engagements (Discover, sprints, and fixed-scope deliverables), if you withdraw before delivery, any refund is limited to the portion of work not yet performed. Retained search may be cancelled at the end of any paid month once the three-month minimum is met. I may choose to refund more at my discretion. Where your engagement letter sets different refund terms, those control.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you give me, for your own decisions, and for the outcomes of those decisions. I provide judgment and recommendations; I do not implement, manage vendors, or guarantee any particular result.
Confidentiality
I keep client work and identities private by default and am glad to work under your confidentiality agreement. Please do not send confidential materials until we have agreed how they will be handled.
Meeting recordings
Calls and meetings may be recorded by the video-meeting software to capture action items and produce summaries of the discussion, and all participants receive the notes. By joining a call you consent to this recording; let me know beforehand if you’d prefer not to be recorded.
Intellectual property
The Site’s content is mine and may not be copied or republished without permission. Work product I deliver for a paid engagement is yours to use for your business once the engagement is paid in full; underlying methods, templates, and know-how remain mine.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Site and its content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, my total liability arising out of the Site or any engagement is limited to the fees you paid for the engagement giving rise to the claim, and I am not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
I may update these Terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
